I’m Jordan Da Graca,
a WordPress & Front-End Developer

Based in Southampton, Hampshire, I have over six years experience building, shipping and upkeeping new and existing WordPress websites, from e-commerce platforms to bespoke portfolio sites. My work focuses on clean, user-centric UI, strong performance, and maintainable front-end code optimised for modern web development standards.

Who I Am

I’m 25 and based in Southampton, Hampshire. I specialise in WordPress and front-end development, with over six years’ experience building and maintaining websites ranging from e-commerce platforms to bespoke portfolio sites. Many of these projects were completed as part of my current full-time industry, where I contributed to or fully built WordPress sites in collaboration with the wider team.

I graduated from Solent University with First Class Honours in BSc (Hons) Digital Design and Web Development, and went on to achieve a Distinction in a post-graduate MSc in Digital Design. My work focuses on clean, user-centric UI, strong performance, and maintainable front-end code optimised for modern web standards.

Where possible, I aim to build sites in WordPress, ideally using a pagebuilder such as Elementor or Bricks to ensure sites are accessible and editable by clients when required.

Attending Solent University throughout the COVID pandemic gave me time to focus on self-study, accelerating my development as a web professional. What began as a hobby in 2016 quickly became a career path.

Through my university studies and subsequent roles, I am now capable of full-stack web development, building optimised, user-centric WordPress and front-end websites for businesses and individuals across the UK. My projects combine performance, functionality, and visually engaging design across multiple platforms.

My Work

Below are some of the websites I’ve built, either as a freelance developer or as part of a small team (~3), depending on the project size and scope. Please note, all sites built via my full-time job are propietary and all rights belong to their relevant parties.

Winchester Film Festival

2020

What started as a small modernisation project quickly evolved into a full-scale website revamp for the Winchester Film Festival. I led the front-end development, ensuring the site remained faithful to their existing brand guidelines while integrating contact forms and e-commerce functionality.

The project included optimising page performance, improving responsiveness across devices, and enhancing the user experience for festival attendees. Working closely with the festival team to create their vision, this was a rewarding opportunity to apply WordPress and front-end development skills to a real-world cultural project, one that sat at my at-the-time home of Winchester.

Post-launch training for the team also ensured they’d be able to make frequent updates and amends to the website beyond the post-launch support period I provided. This was essential for long-term upkeep of the website.

Croma Fire & Security

2025

The first solo web project after my four-year university stint, Croma was an opportunity to showcase lessons learned throughout university alongside skills developed through self-study. Managed through my full-time role and completed in addition to my existing workload, I led a systematic rebuild of the brand identity and website, turning a single-page blog with placeholder content into a fully functional, multi-page website.

I handled the full front-end development, implementing responsive layouts, optimised UI, and performance-focused code as per the agreed design. The project also included integrating contact forms, social media feeds, and lead generation tools, ensuring the site was not only visually cohesive but also functional and results-driven. Following launch, lead generation and social interactions saw a sharp increase, demonstrating the impact of combining branding, design, and development into a single cohesive workflow.

MB Medical Solutions

2025

MB Medical Solutions provides event first-aid services and a wide range of practical and theory courses across the aid sector. This project involved a full redesign of their website, transforming it from an infographic-style site into a functional e-commerce platform where visitors can book and pay for courses online.

I led the front-end development and WordPress implementation, ensuring the site was fully responsive, optimised for performance, and visually aligned with their brand identity. The project also included building an enquiry system for event and venue first-aid hire, allowing users to quickly request services while streamlining the client’s workflow.

The site was designed following modern web development best practices, including accessible navigation, clean UI, and fast load times, resulting in a more intuitive user experience and higher engagement.

John Charcol

2026

John Charcol was a major website project, developed internally within a small team of three as part of my full-time role. The site serves as a resource for visitors seeking independent mortgage advice and features custom functionality including calculators, mortgage suitability checks, and knowledge decks.

I contributed to the project through front-end development in Bricks Builder, implementing the agreed design while ensuring responsive layouts, performance optimization, and smooth user interactions.

The development process involved frequent feedback loops, allowing us to refine the UI and functionality iteratively. The end result is a highly interactive, user-focused website that enhances visitor engagement and supports John Charcol’s advisory services.

Many more projects are coming soon. There’s typically ~3 projects in active development at any one time, and once the sites are published (either through my freelancing or via my full-time job), they’ll be added here – if you’d like more information, please get in touch below!
